Coming soon to the Westlake area, West Austin Pet Hospital is a locally owned and operated veterinary practice committed to exceptional care for pets and their families. We’re building our hospital from the ground up with your pets’ comfort, safety, and well-being in mind.

Meet our owner
Dr. Sean Quintana
Dr. Sean Quintana believes exceptional veterinary care is built on three core pillars: partnership, transparency, and education. He works closely with pet owners to develop personalized care plans tailored to each animal’s unique needs, and he prioritizes explaining the “why” behind every recommendation, test, and treatment.
Known for his ability to simplify complex medical concepts, Dr. Quintana empowers clients to make informed decisions about their pets’ health. He has a strong passion for preventive care and enjoys educating owners about lab work, vaccinations, and long-term wellness strategies that support happy, healthy lives.
Dr. Quintana has a special interest in dermatology and internal medicine cases, and he enjoys working through complex conditions to improve his patients’ quality of life. He is committed to staying current with advancements in veterinary medicine and regularly participates in continuing education across a range of specialties.
A native Texan, Dr. Quintana was born in Houston, grew up in the Dallas area, and settled in Austin after graduating from veterinary school. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Oklahoma State University and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University.
